Pva on hardwall

Evening all. Why is it that pva doesn't seem to work on hardwall that's been applied and allowed to fully dry out. I gave a couple of walls at least 3 full coats (not neat pva, but hardly watered down) tonight and it still had me in a flap! Got there in the end though (emergency sponge floating to the rescue)

More watery pva amd more coats literally like 5-1 mix and 4/5 should sort it

Soak the hard wall with water before you Pva

other way round, don't apply hardwall to pva . we just hose dry hardwall then skim maybe one wall a time.

Sbr will seal the hardwall alot better than pva my friend...

I couldn't turn round a set straight away. I'll give the wall a water soaking next time or bust out the sbr.

But that doesn't all ways work out some days I have to go and sign on.
