Price rises

Just in case any of you lads are priceing jobs involving lots of materials as I am, Bristish Gypsum have announced a 2.8% price rise across all their products in the new year and just by chance both Knauf and Lafarge are putting their rates up by the same amount

dont worry about that mate im sure wages will rise 3% to keep up..................................errr :-\

my prices are going up by 40% as from tomorrow. ;D ;D ;D

Plus a vat increase in Jan too

That's ok. Whatever amount that puts my materials up by, i'll knock that off my labour so the poor builders and developers don't have to pay any extra.

That is the problem though isn't it the builders don't think the increases should be passed on to them do they?
They only seem to think prices should go one way at the moment
