Plastering post dado rail removal

Hi All,

I had some dado rails removed throughout the house which were stuck on with nails and glue. This took a lot of the plaster with it on removal, therefore I got just the gap where the rail use to be plastered. After painting I can still see the outline of the new plaster throughout the landing how can this be rectified. I have not painted over the plaster in the living room yet.

that's proper s**t.

proper

Orbital sander,

first 80 grit to get near to finish

Then change to 120 grit

Fill and sand

Then repeat til good.

I'd use this.

Gets it perfect.
