Plastering loft conversion

Recently boarded my mates loft for storage and genuinely that. Just 6 caber floors worth, with 175mm of celotex underneath, rest will be usual depth of loft roll insulation. He'd told his 'mate'. Mate comes over and wants the same thing done, but during the conversation, I get the impression he wants the whole loft boarded and basically a 'cut price' room in the roof. usual tag line of 'yeah, we'll probably move in a couple of years'!
