Here's a few snaps of a bit of plastering I did in France last month using local materials. :-\
Lutece 2000C, I've never used it before but it's ok a bit like onecoat
got a good finish on board with it aswell.

It goes on anything in onecoat brick, blocks, concrete, boards etc..,

Lutece 2000C is a short setting plaster
Lutece 2000L is a long setting plaster

I could only get the Short setting version & even though it says 1hr 15mins on bag
try putting it on when it's red hot outside
I got about a bag on before it starts going off.

Anyone else ever used this??

I think it is mate bois exotique ;D window was from brico depot.
Lutece was from point p, get everything else from reseau pro - timber, boards, sand & cement etc...

Everywhere else is being boarded so I'll take some board finish over.
But this lutece I loaded the van with 4 33kg bags then went to pay it was €18 + TVA (vat) each
So won't be buying anymore of that!!

Where is your place then martin?
I'm in area 22 not far from corlay.
Had it 6yrs now.

my house in dept 35 (ille et villane) 35 km south rennes

yes mine are also bois exotique from brico depot ( owned by b&q parent co)

great price ----glass already fitted 110 euros approx

been fitted 5 yrs and fine so far

got a reseau pro ( wolsey group) 3 miles away ---got to know them but still find the prices a bit steep....

i need another 12 weeks to finish

still to do

septic tank---downstairs plastering,some electrics,plumbing,kitchen ,sh.t loads of tiling ,

you may be finished before me ???

12 weeks left in France is like 4-5yrs ;D ;D
I've got loads to do mate i totally gutted the place, not even half way through the work yet ;D
Could do with going over for about 3-4months to get it all finished ;)
But a few weeks here & there takes years :(
Yeah I know where rennes is.

yours looks smart from outside

yeah i agree with that.. a 10 day trip we end up with about 7 days work done...

i gutted mine too---only 4 walls(repaired them as well)

if i did another i would buy something that just needed internal refurb rather than a basket case

got too much going on here so have not been over for a year---- ???

nis whats the grey splatter stuff on the walls first? cement based prep coat or something? and did you put it on for key or to give effect etc.

Yeah i don't think I'd do another one..... ever ;D unless I lived there :-\
I got a full house to do up here that we're living in at the mo, that's bad enough :'(
it's never ending ;D

That brico depot is kingfisher group isn't it.
It's just like b&q except you can understand them in the French one ;D

Yes mate it's just sand & cement i had left over, a wet mix splattered on with the back of a trowel in a dashing motion.
And yeh just for a key really & even out suction, there was stone, new pointing, old pointing, smooth concrete around the window, allsorts really, probably would have been ok without it but like i say i had it left over so just used it up ;)
