plaster peeling

Hi,
why does plaster peel when trowling up?
plaster on p/board using multi finish .
happens at last stages of trowling up and takes a long time to go off!

Mabye your first coat is too thin or to dry before applying your second coat, or mabye using to much water when final troweling, or mabye it's the s**t multi that seems to be goin on just now? Try board finish

s**t multi and its prob drying too quick (heat, draught etc)

sounds like a bad batch of plaster check the date on the bag

it just peels, soon as you trowel it up / with or with out water/

used to happen to us when we did conservatories in the summer and it was fewkin roasting.........thinks it just troweling up too late
