Plaster moving to middle of trowel instead of wall !

Has this happened to anyone else ?

The plaster just slides to the centre of the trowel instead of spreading on the wall, it's weird because it does it when the plaster is sometimes thick..Thin and just right in terms of consistency.

I think this is technically know as "PPT syndrome" "Poor Plastering Technique"

The best thing to do is don't buy a stainless steel trowel then you can leave it to to get very rusty therefore plaster no longer slides along trowel but sticks.
