Pitted plaster

Hi,

I plastered a bedroom 2 weeks abo but one wall seems to be sort of 'pitted'. The remaining walls are fine. I have re-plastered the same wall again today, and it has gone the same again before I have even completed the second coat. When I finished it first time it looked fine but the pitted look came once it had dried. The wall was stripped wall paper down to underlying plaster.

Any suggestions on what the problem is and how to rectify this are much appreciated.

Hi tommy, you must go the the hello to new plasterers section also,was there effervescence in the wall ,this would cause pitted look

hi tommy were all four walls the same before you plastered them,, ie stripped wallpaper or was there anything different about this wall

is the pitting all over or random? wasn't a shiny dark green paint on it was there ..... ?
