Pebble Dash square meter price

Hi all,

Whats the going rate per square meter for duralite canterbury spar dashing - Labour only?

Got dashing job to price and not had to dash for a while, never know what to charge.

Also difficult to know how many bags of spar to allow for, I've normally worked on 1 bag per 4 sqm in the past.

Rates are different all over the country mate so no1 will be able to give you a proper answer. Decide what you want to earn a day and divide how much you reckon you can get on in a day. As for bags I work on 1 bag per 2m2 and usually get an extra 2 or 3 bags, but always end up with 5 or 6 left over, better to have too much than not enough especially bringing down a big gable

Completely agree with you on the rates, just finding at the moment that good money is hard to come by these days. I'll probably price the job as you said and as I normally do, by what I want and how long it will take plus maybe a little extra to cover any delays etc. Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
 
I'll get the job as its for a small company that I plaster for. Normally I'm on day rate which suits but bigger jobs they ask me to price from architects drawings. Cheers!
 
Pricing from drawings is not good. You need to see the job and go through with the architect or you will miss the small details, which are time consuming , not to mention and the rest which was " included in your quote" but you forgot about it.
