Dear all.

I have a job coming up using parex parinter.
I have never used this product before so any advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks
Rich

sprays fine no issues, treat it like maitie and you wont go far wrong.you want a mask on when loading it in your hopper, as the lime content is high.
i take it your using it in conjuction with 355 mesh on a painted surface.

I have been instructed to lay it directly into freshly painted render which someone ****** up to try and make it look presentable!!!!!

I don't wanna do it but have to :(

No warranty required.
The client is just looking for the cheapest solution to the problem.

He wants me to apply directly to the render with no mesh or fixings and is looking for a sponge type finish.

Any advice welcomed

You might not get a sponged finish on it as you put it on thin and the aggregate is quite coarse so tends to roll around. More a dpr type finish sponging it

i wouldnt have thought finishing it with a sponge will be fun. ideally u wanna use it as a backing/base coat if u want a good finish

it looks nice with a sponge finish the aggs come up yeah and it is like a dpr finish but with less grit if that makes sense. thin coats onto this richy but if you catch it right and there aint any mesh going in then sponging will be a doddle mate trust me its very easy to work with.
