just been to price up a job for a builder 7 bedroom house customer want's the whole building re rendered

the original render is self is not to bad just hundreds of hairline cracks like a spiders web
the walls are painted and rather smooth

other than stainless steel meshing or complete removal of old render

i'm sort of out of ideas of ways to bonding new to old properly
if was smaller area id of scored lines with grinder or chipped away with hammer to get a key

You could try Jub's Revitalcolor paint which will cover cracked up to 3mm.
