OCR premixed render

I've got an old brickwork wall to render... Do I need any Pva added before I start ?was planning to use the premixed render but wondering if I can to one coat or 2?

Don't mention pva, sbr is for external , I have not used OCR but it's designed as one coat work in two passes, you could sbr scud the wall beforehand if it needs it and mesh if it might crack,we can't really tell without seeing it

use rend aid stipple coat prior to OCR
