No pva needed?

Alright lads,
has anyone used this new stuff out says you don't need to p a anymore.....? Uni finish I think it's called? Surely it will not be as good as normal way.

Yes a lad on here called casper used it. He said it's the best plaster he ever used even gone over wallpaper withg it. Just think skimming over wallpaper what ever next.:RpS_thumbsup:

Do you have to score the paper first Henry?and is it ok over woodchip :RpS_laugh:

No I just slap it on and if the woodchip peels a little just press into the plaster works a treat.:RpS_thumbup:

perhaps the reason it doesnt need pva to bond to is becose bg mix it with liquid no nails:RpS_blink:

Hmm so you have inside information from BG spread 1970. On a job this morning and the walls had been skimmed with diamond white knauf plaster over wallpaper so no need for uni plaster:RpS_thumbsup:

Uni finish? Pah.. Just mix some pva in with yer mix - add a paint matchpot for a coloured finish :RpS_thumbup:
