Are you running a matching cove around that curved room Tony?

No mate. That curved ceiling is about 18" lower than the main part of the room. There is one to do downstairs but the builder reckons his joinery shop is going to make it in timber. I don't think so somehow.

spot on that, nice mitres aswell. something different i imagine.

I try to keep the mitres tight so there's less making good. The cove was quite badly damaged in transit so i've had a lot of additional making good to do. Good job I didn't price it.

Very, very impressive Tony. I see you had a nice rose fitted. Looks like JJ's handywork!!

Nah JJ props his up till the next day to make sure the adhesive has set :RpS_biggrin:

Thats a nice place, what a view :RpS_drool:

Quality work there Tony, looks tidy :RpS_thumbup:

What did you use for the curved backing?

Casting plaster and drywall adhesive. Finished with fine casting plaster.

im crap at it to so never do it sooner pass it on then do it mysen and stuff it up
Too much fcuking about for my liking. Think I've doe it about ten times in total. My last one I done was in a kitchen, somehow can't get them to match up right from start to finish. My mitres are a whole different story!!
