Asbestos cement was mostly used in commercial buildings and added to walls that were fire-rated such as lift shafts.

Therefore, it’s very uncommon to find homes that contain any asbestos in plaster walls and ceilings.

Advise is get it tested. No doubt then

Problem is the room has been cleaned - Plus replastered. So I am just going to carry on worrying or will have to try and forget it.

I’m thinking we didn’t take down any walls and the dust and mortar released/ created from the 2-3 holes from architraves was dampened down brushed and we then hoovered any remaining dust.(Hoover was thrown away afterwards)

Everyone is exposed to asbestos at some time during their life. Low levels of asbestos are present in the air, water, and soil. However, most people do not become ill from their exposure

A few holes in a material that probably didn't contain asbestos and you are worried?
