I havnt used one before but I'm guessing you push one of the corners into the wet angle and pull it along but I maybe the latest member of the doofus section If I have got it wrong

These type of angle trowels are handy when working wet angles which may be slightly less than 90 or slightly more and you just apply gear to both sides of the angle i.e. a pass down each wall rather than one pass straight down with a winged 90 trowel
