Hello.
Have a repair job to do.
Old cement Dash coat has fallen off at some point,
The smooth lime render has been painted.
The masonry paint is in good order.
I need to prepare it for a new Dash coat.
I was thinking rendagrip.
SBR. Then sand/lime/cement /mix for flick gun finish.
I have done lots of "tyrolean" finish in the past, but not over masonry paint. Thanks for any advice.

How long you been rendering mate?

Many years, as part of my house maintenance business.
I'm not a qualified plasterer.
But have not had any complaints or failures in all that time. It is just a new one for me
Having to try this.
Customer won't pay for sand blasting. So I told him I will do the best I can. But cannot guarantee the long term outcome

Length of short term guarantee?

Until you can not longer see my number plates when I drive away?
