new Marshalltown SS 14 x 4 hybrid cork/rubber handle.

i normally use a 14 x 4 carbon steel and SS 14 X 4... Just purchased a new one with a hybrid handle and it seems to have an odd curve in the blade. ive never had this with others ive had.
it seems to dig in hard at the toe and heel. anyone had the same trouble?
