Ayeup lads and lasses,
my names Jim and I'm a part time lecturer/ plasterer/ builder from sunny Sheffield I've been in the game for 30 years starting a apprenticeship at 15 with the Sheffield works department.
ive been lucky enough to work in some great counties and meet some great people while plastering and hopefully carry on the trend with this forum.

Thanks for the welcome guys,
I ordered a couple of speed skims last night, I can't wait to try them out.
a guy came to a college I was teaching at earlier this year and after he'd flattened the wall off he applied the second coat virtually straight away is this the norm?
