Never been so happy to see an artex ceiling!

After three days tiling an uncalibrated slate floor in an 18th century cottage with floors so pissed I felt drunk just walking on the things, cutting tiles outside in the rain,snow and hail, hands in and out of cold dirty water making me look about 80 years old.

Now, 6 days 2mins drive from home skimming one artex ceiling a day, even the light fittings are straight forward to take down for once (2 cables), now I love my job again.
