A coat of Bondit, a tight coat of Bonding and then skim.

Done loads of em that way in hotels in Manchester that's the best system

Concrete columns ect and stairwell ceilings after there shuttered are all done that way

You can actually use thistle durafinish straight on, I’d use betakontakt or microgobetis.

Nobody's mentioned spalling so I'm guessing that has nothing to do with it. The ceiling is concrete.

Monkey Boy - Mine was done Nov last year and that post is January so I don't think it's them.
