This will be my third post now in a short time of being here, but there's alot of mixed opinions on this.

Some say to never use Multi Finish over lime some say they always do it.

What would you do and how would you deal with a job like plastering over old lime plaster ?

Thanks in advance.

Has the lime been painted over with modern paints? Cos that's gona stop the wall from breathing anyway.. So if you put a gypsum based plaster over which does not breath...

you have to pva /blue grit prime wall , and you stop wall breathing anyway, by using multi I personally don't see a problem some do some don't personal choice bud, if walls are dry no problem in my opinion
