Bought this through eBay and turned out to be a scam :-(

So if anyone lives close any chance of checking in for me,
 
Wish I did but I did a bank transfer as I was originally going to go and collect it until I saw where he was.and I thought, well he has given me his address so must be genuine.he told me what courier service he was going to use ect ect.

Fck!!! Have you contacted your bank to see if they can do anything?
 
Yeah because I transferred it there's nothing they can do expect ask the person to give it back. Can't get his details because of data protection.
 
Ive always wondered why i keep on seeing the same machines and pics come up on ebay, I nearly got done myself but when i told a guy I will buy a machine of him through paypal he didnt want to know so he pulled out, I wouldnt pay or tranfer cash on ebay for anything as your not protected, with paypal you are protected, unfortunatly its a hard lesson learned, cant stand scumbags who do things like this.
 
So Ebay rules say you are covered against fraud with the ebay money back guarantee however not for cars and some other stuff or if the item was in a classified ad. Why do they say you are not covered
 
there is a sort code tracker online you could check to see what bank you transferred your cash to if its a foreign bank i would give up :RpS_crying:
 
Auction ended then it was offered to me as the winning bidder apparently couldn't be contacted. I spoke to the winning bidder recently and he said it sounded dodgy

Apparently Barclays won't do anything for you unless the police inform them so push the police ,Barclays will only humour you but their hands will be tied,sorry,best of luck
 
My mate got done a few weeks back buying a car.
Personally I think you would be mad to give a stranger that amount of money paypal or not.
