Hi all I'm pricing a job for a customer and probably going to use weber monocouche, she already has a single story extension which is plain flat rendered, unpainted, and has asked if I can price to paint this the same colour as the render, does anyone know if webers textured paints give a monocouche render appearance? And are paint and monocouche colours the same when applied? Are the weber paints expensive or are there any alternatives, ( ill be subbing the actual painting out)
thanks

Go over the original render ,you will have to rendaid first then it will all look the same

it wont give the same render effect, you can get equaliser paint, or maybe take a sample of the mono to b and q to get colour matched? could be a cheaper option.

Could you tyrolean then rub it with a float. Ive seen this done and it looks similar to mono. Weber do both products so colour matching shouldn't be a problem

1.5mm TF150 would be similar and you can get the same colour in mono or rather the other way round. Their paint is more like a Sandtex. Jub is better for painting over a texture.

Prime the flat render with their PR310 colour coded or watered down sbr 1:1 if it is white. Put TF150 over the primer.

Better still use some other manufacturer. I think SAS had an outlet up your way.

Just remembered? I did a mono job and the house had a jump wall on the roof which was found to be timber frame. I did it in TF150 to match the Ivory mono and from the ground you could not tell the difference.
