I know in theory how to do these renders but how hard is it? I can flat render sand and cement to a decent finish and have done large dashing jobs to a good standard. Does it help if you can s&c render?

yes you lay in the same way .... piece of pi.ss to do but take your time and be picky when you rub up

if you can s&c render to a good standard mate youll have no problems!

biggest thing to look out for is if you lay it on in two passes or coats that you don't break through to the first coat when scratching or your buggered. also joint marks can give dodgy texture lines if you overlap between lifts after a skin has formed

Cheers for that, what happens if u lay it in the afternoon and return next morning to scrape back and it's set to hard?
