I think it's a common fault on those from what I hear pal. I'm sure somebody more useful will post shortly to help you out? Do you have a back up mixer to help??

Yes I did read that myself. I have used this model drill for many years but have only ever experienced problems to the leads from wrapping tightly to the body but never a problem with the trigger.
This drill is less than a few months old and only used a hand full of times in which has been lightly oiled an cleaned after every use so I can't understand as to why the trigger could go so soon.
I'd taken the switch apart rapidly in order to finish what I'd started and cannot remember the location to power in/out of the switch.

Yes of it comes to it I will try as apparently warranty doesnt cover plug cable nor switch. I will call them first thing Monday if needs be but was hoping to take a look myself over the weekend

That's piss poor service if they won't cover it if only few months old?? Name and shame if they don't??
