Have just bought a MarshallTown VS733 wallsander via Amazon and it arrived today. I'm not sure but I think it may be faulty in that the sanding plate is slightly curved ie. concave - the edges touch the wall first. I thought it may flatten when you apply pressure but I doubt it will on inspection. I haven't used it yet as I may return it but also worried that I'll make the plaster worse with a curved sanding plate. Anyone had/got one of these wall sanders and is yours curved or perfectly flat?
