yes if your earning the coin,for tax purposes, if not don't bother.

Ask your accountant. Only he can answer that based on your income and type of work you are taking on. Pros and cons so no easy answer. Don't listen to some that talk it up as maybe right for them but not you

Had a few companies in past need to be doing a couple of hundred grand to be worth the bother tbh

Definitely not as beneficial as it used to be. As said you need to be earning a fair old wedge to make it worth while now.
