Lime plaster over plasterboard?

Hi there, im helping to renovate a grade 2 listed barn, the internal stonework is going to be lime plastered but there is a new stud wall going up to make a bathroom, can we lime render over new plasterboard?

Use British gypsum board finish

Lime green solo can be used on board work.
Waste of time lime Plastering plasterboard imo
It’s just aesthetic won’t serve any different purpose than Gypsum finish
