I'm selling my lancy mixijet ph9 it has 1500 hours on the clock and comes with 50m of hoses and spray gun plus new rotar and stator less than 1oo bag old I'm asking £6000 but I'm open to offers ank questions please call me 07720243428 thanks

Thats a good question Clemo.

The best sand would be a graded sand that when mixed with cement doesn't bleed water. So to test this you can make the mix and squeeze it with your fist clenched if it all comes through your fingers without leaving a crushed ball of sand it will likely be pumpable. Or you could leave it in a bucket and give it a shake, if water rises to the top the mix is not pumpable.

Graded sand can be mixed by your local quarry or aggregate supplier or check local suppliers for "plastering sand" which often is suitable. When asking for sand you need a coarse,medium and fine or filler grain. This will fill all the gaps inbetween the grains which would otherwise be filled with water in a mix and bleed.

Its even possible for you to buy seprately the different grades of sand required. i.e. coarse, medium and a filler
