Good to see another decorating company get the airless contract, drylining companies haven't got a clue what it is or how to implement it on site

Yer just getting the main contractors and the drylining companies head around the system. Still have the do one room at a time mentality and not do one floor.

Personally I want to see airless always being part of the finishing package.

Will be able to get charge for shite board work and control the sequence of works better

@Curry can you stick a vid or a link to a video up? I've not heard much about airless so i'd like to see it. Does it comes in tubs then like paint? Im making that assumpion because that machine theclemo linked looks like a paint spraying one?

If not can someone point me at a decent source of info.

Dont say google either please

@Curry how long do u leave the first coat b4 u give it the 2nd coat.

If it's on board then about 90 mins if the taping been done correctly however you can't trowel it up like you can if you leave it until dry.

This system is designed for good runs, you can make it work double coating in a day but it takes more time in the long run.

On reskims you can double coat no worries as the old plaster pulls the airless in. No priming you want it to suck in :)

Large holes need preping with gypsum or lime if its heritage work ( the system is heritage board backed as it's breathable)

So is it a viable system for reskim type work if you had a large room or a couple of rooms? Is it much more expensive than board/multi finish per m2?

This stuff is designed to go on thin so the costings don't work out a lot different.

I've got house full of artex ceilings to do from tomorrow and a 1930 semi reskim next week so I'll take a load of pics

so will you bond out the ceilings first or scrape them?

Can you do some videos as well?
