got a kitchen to re skim but the ceilings caked in greese above the cooker and in other places

was planing on just scraping as much off as possable n giving it a scrub with water n sugersoap

over boarding aint an option as coving is shallow and would loose the lip

any other ideas ???

No, we sometimes use light pva and scrape ,sponge it off too. Sugar soap too, hard work...

U can overboard , use the beads that lip around the edge of the board 5a for a 3 metre jus a stop bead with a extra peice that covers the end of the board and lips round the back , leave it a 1/2 inch or inch of coving and if anything your adding a feature to the cove

knock the cove off, overboard and recove. do not take any risks or you will end up loosing money. the cost is not your problem.
