k render hp12 base coat

Just wanted to no if I damping down hp12 base coat before putting the k render on will this prolong drying time then if I didn't damping down base coat??

Yes but at most give it a light spray and only on a big panel in direct sun. If not it'll sit for ages and the top coat will slide esp if dashing it.

Hi, only reason for asking is I'm doing large job out in the sticks and it's all ways windy so that was the idea of prolong setting time so wind does dry it to fast over night

Wont help with wind and doubt wind would harm it anyway to be honest. Have u done it before?

Yeah mate i'v done it loads of times, had no problems until last week on a different job it was windy all night long and when get there in morning to scarcth it, set solid

Its warming up now a bit. Wet it down half an hour before you apply. Dry your beads off with a rag to prevent it sliding. Then start laying your krend on about 3 o clock. Shud be fine were doing g it with weber which is faster set than k
