K rend or Cullamix

I have a little tyloreon job to do after using sand and cement to render the front of the house,anyway the builder has come back from TP s and has been told by one of the yard lads that everybody is using k rend instead of cullamix.Is this true can it be done? I am using the hand applied tyrol gun.

I've used it mate on a patch up job , not had any comebacks yet , only been on 6 months though

Thanks Paul, can it be painted as the customer wants it the same as next door or am i best using sand and cement slurry?

k rend can be painted with a good quality masonary paint if required at a later stage.

Lash - do you have a sealer or a self cleaning coating to go over the mono after its dried out

I only used some mono up that had been sat in the lock up a while, but if your gonna paint it it will be cheaper to mix your own tyro rather than buy it

Thanks,put the tyro finish on it today and the builder bought the proper cullamix so it went all ok.
