Final polish is about all there useful for, shine it right up to p1ss the painters off.

The are great for finishing, so saves time I think, very delicate, so easy to damage, forever wire wooling them but handy enough to have, nothing replaces the trowel yet, be careful not to expect to much from them till the plaster has hardened enough, the plastic won't flatten or remove blisters, you could be lured into a false sense of security thinking it looks great till the light hits it the next day, others will have different views..

Agree with last post. When I first got it I was told by fella who sold it.to me.to use it from Start to finish. Looked great until dry then it looked lime sand when the tide has gone out
