If the job has been treated for damp then i would use a renovation plaster for a backing coat like wykamol (other brands available) its lightweight and you can skim next day job is a goodun.

Take an old 2 litre water bottle with you. Or use a condom as an improvised water carrying device. Did they not teach you crap hats how to improvise adapt and overcome?

Bet you carry tampons round with you as well for failsafe starting a fire.... in fact I bet you use this method for soldering!
