Hi guys, This is my first post so go easy on me LoL ! I am a newly self employed (as general builder) and have just been asked to do a job where they would like the whole of a big extension rendered then skimmed the problem is im a bit unsure of how to tackle it due to me mainly rendering on concrete block, I tryed to say dot and dab and skim but he wants render then skim but with insultion blocks i fear cracks all over the place as they suck the life out of the render and also would you do a scratch coat then top coat and then multi finish or could you get away with one render coat and multi ? any tips gratefully recieved!
