Can make a cheap guide for circular saw with a couple of bits of thinnish ply/mdf etc. Poor mans track saw but wouldn’t want to use my best plunge saw regularly on PB. Depends on board thickness too

I bought my Hilti circular saw for a large Fermacell job. It’s cut more thermal board than it has wood. Don’t need a rail if you’ve got a steady hand. Wen you think of the time it saves, what’s £20 for a new blade?

Parkside cordless circular saw was what I used to use. I bought it just to see if it would work and it did. Also good for cutting kingspan cos you get a better square cut.
