Hi again, quick one on how to form a bellcast without a bead, I'm doing a lime job, I was just going to nail a batton along and use a trowel with a bend on and sponge it in. Any good:RpS_cursing:

Batten is fine, curve into it, leaving a 10 mm bit for the finish coat. Make sure its nice and straight and an even curve.

As John says^^

But why you need a trowel with a bend on it? :RpS_unsure:

Do it properly and use a furring not a square edged batten. That way you'll get a proper "drip" section to it. Other than that do as John said, although I think leaving 10mm for the top coat may be a bit on the thick side.
