how to become an assessor or plastering tutor

Just wondering how do I become an assessor or tutor? I have an nvq level 3 and an Australian Aqf level three in plastering.

I saw a vacancy and applied mate, mind you the paperwork is shocking and something you have got to keep on top of. Also you will need to take a degree in education but most places will pay for the course, just get ready to give up 2 years of your life for a qual that doesn't teach you a thing. Mind you after all that moaning the hours are good, its nice and steady and well the hols are quite attractive. Let me know which area your looking at and I might be able to pass on some vacancies when they arise.

Thanks, I am in Tewkesbury. Can the degree be done any quicker? I would still do it though.

Not unless you you've already got a degree then you can achieve in a year. To achieve your Cert Ed you need to be teaching or have access to deliver a minimum of 60 hrs teaching.
