I'm doing a job for a mate and the wall is pants. Blown in parts, holes and paint which when pva applied appears to go soggy! There's a lot going on....sockets pipes etc. My question is should it be ok to fill then skim over or should I bond more board to cover everything and start from scratch.
Secondly...if I skim over is there something other than PVA I can use on the wall so seal and ensure super adhesion with plaster? Thank you.
