Hi my name is Hugo. Hello to everyone on here. I have been plastering for about four months now and I love every bit of it. I come across this site because I was looking up crazing. I did a job just before Christmas and I have had a text today to say that one wall has crazed so I just want to know why that might be before i go back to see it. It was on board. Any ideas?

It's dried to quick if the boards were up a long time it creates too much suction, experience will tell you straight away about the boards they would of been slightly darker. The way to solve it is either PVA or pre grit then skin as normal.

Thanks for the information. I went back to the job today to see for myself and to be honest it was not so bad. It was just three cracks about a half metre each in length. I covered them with polyfilla and will go back on Monday evening to sand them down. It was not old board and it was not by a radiator so it looks like we will never know but I appreciate the input. Thanks. No there was not to much heat either.
