Hi if I am repeating myself it’s because I tried to post before , so apologies.
I trained in plastering in the 70s ,from school .
Boy was it heavy work , everything float and skim , 8 x4 plasterboarding on ceilings for a slightly built 16 year old not reccomended for your health .
Any way , fate took me down different paths , but I kept my hand in as they say , got plenty of private work by working on a big factory.
Now happily retired I am about render my sons extension, when restrictions allow ,
I m fine with scratch coat , float coat and rubbing up , but never used a drip bead , just wondering do you just form the belly at the bottom freehand , any tips welcome .
