HI
My name is Stuart and have been plastering for 30 + years.
Just tried my hand at doing some thin coat silicone render as a favour for a friend,
But not happy with it to be honest.
I tried to put it all on in one hit 20 square meters on a kitchen extension, But after I have been told that I should have had someone following behind rubbing it up.
Anyway I will come to the point can I re primer and start again.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Welcome along Stuart it's one of those even though you have 30 years experience and would of had no problems banging it on its a totally different system to what you will be used to so don't feel like a total failure! It's not your fault
Wot happened when you rubbed it up did it come off.how thick is it.
To be honest I called the manufacturer and they said it should have only gone on one mil thick,
It didn't fall off, I just left it to long to rub up, And because of the thickness I put it on it ended up burying the aggregate.
