try a weak pva on the blocks rough coat then straight back over it plus its really nice to set :) :)

Same here there's more browning than hardwall in some of the merchants by me.
Your in Stoke aren't you Hollybank??
I've never been able to get hardwall when i've been up your way.
Well not at TP anyway. Don't know if the big b&q at Meir park does it.
Mind you i wasn't looking for it last time i went in there.
 
Yes in Stoke Nisus,TP have a dozen bags in ,B&Q nothing.The merchants i use buildbase has none at all.
 
Thanks for all youre help on this subject,went in this morning put a load of hardwall on it seemed to be a lot better more workable,wether it was me i dont know.

Thats right they are just upgrading our housing stock,renew are buying all our hovels at a good price :)
 
Had some new hardwall delivered this morning mixed it up,slapped it on the wall was an absolute dream to use,had a few of the old stock left checked the sell by date it was over a month out of date doh,no wonder the builder only paid three pound a bag for it[b*****d]
 
Just been in my merchants this morning,half a pallett of browning and bonding no hardwall to be seen,will have to go elsewhere for my hardwall now ive got used to it ;)
