the job i am on at the moment is a very old house prob 30s and i am just doing a re skim in the barthroom,anyway when the chippy took the archetrave off around the window and the window frame was set in 3mm from the existing plasterwork ,not flush with it.i asked the chippy if he could put some grounds around the frame about 2 to 3 mm proud ,and he looked at me as if to say what the hell are you on about , it works on doors as well and just makes a better job to i think
