grey scrim

i bet you have all come across it and now im looking to make it part of my stock on a regular basis, but i cant seem to find it anywhere

do you know where i can get it and how much its gonna cost roughly?
 
need abit more then 2 rolls mate..... gonna need a few boxes but cheers anyway i will head there now and see whats there
 
Call r amd j hardware. The company they get their scrim off do the white stuff and grey but they only sell the white but its really sticky. If you want the grey buildbase sell it. I get a box and works out at a couple of quid a roll
 
Grey scrim is great, hard to find though. I think there's two types one in a yellow bag and one in red bag, the red bag is good. Equal to that is the speedline scrim from Sheffield insulation, that stuff is really good.
 
Im on about the red bag one. The same company do a white scrim which is just as good. Available from r&j

That's the one I've used for years, very sticky but does fray at the edges a fair bit. I'm going to buy a box of the BG scrim next week.
 
grey scrim (red bag ) sticks very well but sometimes is so sticky that when pulled starts that annoying fray on the edges that does my nut in! my fav is a tape by 4Trade keeps its shape and usually sticks well

Got a box of speedline tape may be sticky but think its crap frays all the time and spend more time peeling them bits off the roll normally use euro scrim but seems to not want to stick to cold boards in this weather
 
Yep cheap scrim is just a no no at the end off the day its what stops cracks and cheap always has small bits showing thow skim.
Jacksons stock the grey gear but i find handover make good **** sticky and hardly frays.
