finding a van is getting to me

I'm looking to buy a van and i only want to spend around 1500 quid so its gonna be something tatty with high milage.But as long as its running well with a bit of mot and tax it will do.I live in Harlow town Essex so if anyone knows of or has seen anything could you let me no.I have been using the wife's focus and it ain't going down to well.escort or vauxhall combo would do.I looked at a escort van yesterday from a dealer and the back door didn't lock it had been done with a screwdriver when i mentioned this he said no prob i can push the catch down and it will lock.when i asked how to open it he said i could just jump over the front seat and release the catch.Is it just me or would that be a pain in the butt.

yeah thought about auction but i was told you cant start them up and check them over.I no someone selling a Astra van but i don't no if they are a bit to small it has new mot from today and service history.I will go and have a look

Try BCA at Blackbush , i`ve had a few from there , think Thursdays are van days , normally a thousand or so vans go through .

I brought an ex british gas van from bca auctions in Newport. Renult master, fully kitted out with racking inside and ladder rack and tubes outside.. 54k on the clock FSH.... £1500!

i think there is an auction in colchester for vans terry think they are ex bt so well looked after
