Hi All,

Im a kitchen & bathroom installer and I'm normally working indoors, however i have a job that requires to render a new built extension that is block built. I would like some help and advice on the mix required. there is approx 20m2 to be rendered and the client wants the finish to be white so he doesn't have to paint it, hence the reason for using white cement?
I have asked some friends and some say that i need to use plastering sand and the white cement with a 2:1 ratio and others say 3:1 so I'm not sure.

I know that i need to put a scratch coat with waterproofer and then the final coat. I need to use corner beads and stop beads above the windows and just above the DPC. Since its not something i specialise in, i wanted to be sure there is nothing i have missed out and that i may be able to get the info from the professionals that do this on a regular basis.

Any advice really preferred.

I'm going to fit a kitchen next week and I was just wondering whether to gripfill the base units to the floor or to the wall ?
