I posted early Aug about a rubbish plasterer but now 6 weeks or so later I have got a real pro on the job, after 4 days he has done the upstairs ceilings and all the boarded walls up there, today it's downstairs ceilings, hardwall next week.
The ceilings upstairs are partly in the roof so high and part sloping but with a couple of hips projecting down, all plastered in. The finished ceiling plastering is superb with flat ceilings neatly flowing into the sloping areas and hipped areas neatly beaded and with an amazing smooth flow into the flat ceilngs. The best part is where the the two slopes arond the hip run up and meet the flat ceiling., there are 3 surfaces meeting and each one neatly flows into the other, the finish is mirror like, true skills!
It's just great to get someone who has years of experience and who takes great pride in doing a spot on job. The thing is with plastering trhat it will show for ever so there is no point in cutting corners, you will live to regret it. Use a true pro!
